Sant Jordi 2015 (photos)

Last 23th of April we selled photozines and collage zines at Vila de Gràcia town square (in Barcelona). We joined the proposal of Lindero Libros to put our own desk on there, and probably we are going to repeat the experience next year. The sun did act of presence all day, plus the recent pruning of the square, left the skin burned to all of us.

Mirades, IV Festival de fotografia

We start the “spring zine fairs tour”, this saturday, at the small village of Torroella de Montgrí. During three weekends is held the “Mirades” festival, all about photography, curated by Amics de la Fotografía.

Miquel Abat, Maria Gregori, Ivana Larrosa, Carles Llop, Conchi Martínez, Xavi Moix and Cori Pedrola with the curatorship of Josep Bou will open “Proximitat” the first exhibition of the festival.

Lola Montserrat, Roig Llasera, Jordi Comas Mora, Marc Llach Pagès, Patxi Somalo García, Núria Oreja, Maties Marc Carreras, Mireia Tor, Joan Ramell, Josep Vilallonga Anglada, Miguel Lozano Bonora, Manel Esclusa, Salvi Danés, Yurian Qintanas and a group of 20 photographers from UPIFC will be responsible of filling the eight exhibition spaces of the town.

Saturday is when we have the role of the festival, to be held outdoors, at the Plaça de la Vila (the town square) under the name “trobada d’editorials de fotografía”. You will find us at 10:00 (for early risers) until 19:00. No, we are not going to be alone: Ediciones Anómalas, Terranova editorial, Henry Hill Books, La Parada, Curbert Edicions, Llibres del Mirall, Lindero Libros, Gorbs Communicació, selfpublished books from Territorios Libres and publications from the UPIFC plus the Diputació de Girona are going to join the party-fair. See you there!

Landscapes & Duality of loneliness

Yeap! Has been a while since i don’t show you the new zines we have been publishing on Bad Wether. Today, two of them, and both from new photograph artists!

Landscapes is a photozine of known places. Others, discovered by Clémenthine Thomas during his long trips. Enigmatic, magical and symmetrically beautiful landscapes. You will not find human presence on all pages. You will be alone and calm.

We can’t say the same about Duality of loneliness, alone yes but… calm? The images have been composed and cut to look like a comic, photographs talk linearly (in the direction of the history) and as a whole double page composition.

In every page, the dialogues become more dark, enigmatic and in some cases, depressive. We are really suprised with Vertice Vortice's (Ana Núñez Rodríguez) work, love it!

Fiebre Fotolibro 2014 (Photos)

Zines of the Zone: Barcelona

Ana Zaragoza García photobook "La famille poirot 1", we love it!

Yep, so Tuesday we made a short visit to the Zines of the zone event in CFD (Creació de Fotografía Documental) in Barcelona, organized with the Photobook Club Barcelona. We couldn't stay in the they did, but we take a look at the collection and we can guarantee that it's a valuable treasure.

We had the chance to have a look at the Booklet version of "Stories" named "Afterword".

I hope the next city on the tour: Vevey, Switzerland (you can see the full list here), can enjoy our photozines and collage zines, because we left a good pile.

Choice Warehouse

Just a quick post to remember we are going to be at the Choice Warehouse, in Centro de arte Mutuo, in Barcleona. From 19:00 to 23:00! We are going to have all our latest zines. :)

Manhattan & Agno3

A few weeks ago we launched two new titles! Horray!

The small one is "Manhattan" a new 24 page photozine from Pere Saguer with pics from Manhattan taken with a iPhone 4. We made 50 copies, and if you can't go to the fairs we go, you can buy it here.

The yellow one, is a new photographer from Girona: Carles Palacio, he has been working in lots of different kind of photographs but never selfpublished a small run project. "Agno3" is the name of this first project and we ONLY have 25 copies, so maybe you need to clic here now for one.

Libros Mutantes 2013

A few days later, we noticed that some of Bad Weather stuff where on a picture in the digital version of EL PAÍS. The desk/stand was from Sandwich Mixto, a nice place you should visit if you go to Madrid! You can read the text (in spanish!) here.
